Frequently asked questions

Is it free? Yes. Conquestry runs in your browser on phone, tablet or desktop. No download; just a free account. Do I need an account? Yes, a free one. Sign up with Google or an email and password and your games and rating are kept from the first game, on any device. How do I play with friends? Choose New game, set it to private, and share the link. Fill empty seats with bots in one tap, and drag players between teams. Can I play alone? Yes. Quick match on the home page starts a game against bots. Bots range from easy to hard. How long does a game take? Real-time games with a short turn clock take 15 to 40 minutes. Slow games give each player hours or a day per turn, so you can play a few moves at a time; turn alerts tell you when it is your move. What happens if I leave mid-game? Your seat stays yours. If your turn clock runs out, the AI plays a safe turn for you; after several missed turns autopilot holds your seat until you come back. How are dice rolled? On the server, with a fair random generator. The attacker rolls up to three dice and the defender up to two; ties go to the defender. The battle card shows exact odds before you commit. Prefer no luck? Choose Fixed battles. How does rating work? Everyone starts at 1000. Only games against other people count, and the system is more certain about you the more you play. Where do the maps come from? Every map is original, made for Conquestry. New maps and modes are added over time. Is this affiliated with any board game? No. Conquestry is an independent, original game. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any board game publisher.
